Let's face it, brakes pads hands down are the most important components of our vehicle. Our brake pads allow us to stop our vehicles with a simple push of a brake pedal. Unfortunately they don't last forever and are considered to be a major wear item which must be replaced before they completely wear out and damage the brake rotor costing you more in repairs. Brake pads can be made of several materials such as a semi-metallic compound, ceramic compound, or organic. Brake pads are suggested to be checked frequently during oil changes or routine services for wear to ensure you have at least the minimum pad thickness as stated by the car manufacturer.

Strong stopping power
Replaced organic pads that dusted like a coal mine. The pads grip as good as the organic pads to slightly better. The included sensor didn’t fit well, the hole drilled into the pad material was off set, made it work but the sensor is tweaked into the hole.

Not having to clean my wheels every day is a dream! I opted for economy shipping and received these door to doo in exactly 48 hours from purchase! And i live in the last city in South Florida! FCP never ceases to amaze! I have a set on my Expedition EL as well as my W140 S-Class which are both about the same weight LoL. These things STOP ! Buy them! ...and lifetime warranty on brakes? Why would you not?! Amazing! FCP ALL DAY BABY!

Just what I wanted!
The OE pads on my E350 performed fine, but produced am incredible amount of brake dust making it impossible to keep my wheels clean. Installed these Akebonos after reading several reviews on different forums. Finding that they perform comparably to the EO pads, but without all the dust! They seem just as quiet as the old pads too.
