For Mercedes C-Class models produced in 2004, there was a split in production where the brake pad shape changed. You can determine if this kit fits your vehicle with the following criteria:

  • Using your VIN Number if the 11th character is an "F" the number proceeding it must be greater than 660226.
  • Using your VIN Number if the 11th character is an "A" the number proceeding it must be greater than 565688.

As an example:

  • If your VIN number is WDBRF40J44 "F" 506812, this part WILL NOT fit
  • If your VIN number is WDB2030461 "F" 827866, this parts WILL fit.

Disc Brake Pad Set

Let's face it, brakes pads hands down are the most important components of our vehicle. Our brake pads allow us to stop our vehicles with a simple push of a brake pedal. Unfortunately they don't last forever and are considered to be a major wear item which must be replaced before they completely wear out and damage the brake rotor costing you more in repairs. Brake pads can be made of several materials such as a semi-metallic compound, ceramic compound, or organic. Brake pads are suggested to be checked frequently during oil changes or routine services for wear to ensure you have at least the minimum pad thickness as stated by the car manufacturer.

Also great fit quality and feel
Also got these front to match the rear Akebono pads for my 05 Mercedes C230k also got about 1000 miles and feels great and responsive. The reason I choose these is because I saw a video on Youtube and I saw they were using the Zimmerman disc and Akebono pad kit so I thought to myseld why not and like I said before I am very please with the correct fitment and quality. I'm not sure if I might of missed it but they did not come with the shims(brake hardware) like some other brake pads do.

These pads perform great with very little dust.
