Mercedes Brake Pad Set - Ferodo 0074205720

I bought these for my 2012 c300, performance wise its good but it leaves your wheel very dusty. I will switch back to ceramic ones next time.

It was a toss up between these Ferodo pads and the TRW ceramic pads, i decided to go with these pads since they are labeled "OE" in the description. I have a 2010 Mercedes C300 4matic Sport and it had Mercedes pads and rotors previously, which looking at the Carfax were installed at a mercedes dealer. Those pads and rotors looked horrible when removing them, deep grooves in both and it looked like only half of the pads were even touching the rotors, needless to say stopping was horrible. I drove about 200 miles since the sensor started going off, probably could of gone another 200 miles before the pad was down to the metal. Out of the box these ferodo pads look exactly like the mercedes pads, minus the Mercedes symbol. Install was easy and they fit perfectly. I have about 400 miles on these new pads and Zimmermann rotors i went with. It took a few miles to break them in, then wow, the stopping is now awesome, the best it's ever been since i bought the car over a year ago. I also did the rear pads and rotors about a month ago, so it should be stopping much better anyways. So far everything is working great, stops smooth, quick, and no noises at all. The only negative i can think of is the rims do get dirty pretty quick, but they also got dirty with the Mercedes pads and for how good it stops now i am happy. If you want brakes that stop great and dont mind cleaning your rims often i would recommend these. I live in new England so im washing the car all the time anyways with how dirty and salty the roads are.
