NOTE:

For Mercedes C-Class models produced in 2004, there was a split in production where the brake pad shape changed. You can determine if this kit fits your vehicle with the following criteria:

  • Using your VIN Number if the 11th character is an "F" the number proceeding it must be less than 660226.
  • Using your VIN Number if the 11th character is an "A" the number proceeding it must be less than 565688.

As an example:

  • If your VIN number is WDBRF40J44 "F" 506812, this part WILL fit
  • If your VIN number is WDB2030461 "F" 827866, this parts WILL NOT fit.

good replacement setup - just carry wheel cleaner in the trunk
The pads are very dusty and have a gradual bite which causes them to feel like the worn out pads you are replacing. That isn't necessarily a bad thing as it allows you to continue braking as you have been with the same predictable pedal feel. Whereas the MB pads and rotors have a very aggressive bite when new and require changing your pedal pressure to slow gradually. However, push the pedal hard on these Brembos and you will stop and will find your body straining against the seatbelt. A good all around setup for regular street use, and perhaps occasional track use. 1 star deducted for excessive brake dust.

My 2004 C320 does not have cross drilled rotors. Will this Brembo kit fit my auto. Seems according to the VIN it should. Just wondering what the OE cross drilled rotors vs. plain rotors entail. My VIN is WDBRF64J34 F 488180.....

Cross Drilled rotors are physically much larger in size than the solid face rotors. This kit is incorrect for your vehicle
