There is a single bump on the back of the pad that positions the pad shim vs. the MB pad that has 2 bumps. The single bump interferes with the center brake caliper pistons during installation. The MB pad bumps are positioned between the 3 caliper pistons and will slide in without removing the caliper from the hub. To install the new TRW pads, you have to unbolt the caliper and install them before bolting the caliper onto the hub to prevent damaging the center caliper piston seal.
Great fitment. Massive rotors!

Technically yes via retrofitting, however you will also need the AMG caliper to use these rotors and pads and possibly mounting brackets for the new calipers. As well as new wheels in order to clear new calipers.

Would this front kit work on a 2018 E63 AMG S with red color calipers the hats on the kit look like a different shape then OEM rotors. Also is there a rear kit available.

Yes, this kit fits your car. They are both considered floating rotors. The hats are different because the OE rotor has an aluminum hat that is pinned to the friction surface and the Brembo rotors have an aluminum hat that is bolted to the friction surface. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer rear brake kits for your E63 AMG S.

The rear pads are part number 0004209900. If you have carbon ceramic brakes, these pads will not work.

No, you will need caliper brackets from a Black Series model if you were to install this kit. Search kit number 479048 if you are looking for a kit with the appropriate 2 piece rotors.
