An engine connecting rod is a critical component in internal combustion engines, serving as the link between the piston and the crankshaft. This rod is responsible for transmitting the reciprocating motion of the piston to the rotary motion of the crankshaft, providing the power and torque necessary for a functioning engine.

Constructed from durable materials such as high-strength steel or aluminum alloys, the connecting rod must be able to withstand the extreme forces and temperatures within the engine cylinder.
