A/C O-Ring Kit

The A/C line O-ring is a small, rubber gasket that creates a seal between the various connections in an automotive air conditioning system, such as the A/C lines, hoses, compressors, and other components. Its primary purpose is to prevent refrigerant and lubricant from leaking out of the A/C system. O-rings are critical in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of the air conditioning system.

A/C O-Ring Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Refrigerant Leaks: The most common sign of a failing A/C line O-ring is a refrigerant leak. You may notice a drop in the performance of the air conditioning system, as refrigerant escapes from the leak point. Leaking refrigerant may also leave a visible oily residue around the connection points of the A/C lines.
  • Refrigerant Recharging: If the A/C system requires frequent recharging with refrigerant, it could be due to a slow leak caused by a worn or damaged O-ring. Recharging the refrigerant without addressing the leak will only provide temporary relief, and the problem will recur.
