A hazard warning switch is the control button (often a red triangle symbol) that activates a vehicle’s hazard lights. When pressed, it engages all turn signal lights to flash simultaneously, warning other drivers of a breakdown, accident, or roadside emergency. The switch connects directly to the vehicle’s flasher relay and electrical system.
