Product Information

If you're looking to add a center radiator to your 981 Cayman we have developed this kit specifically for you. The factory cooling system is great on the street for stock vehicles, but any Porsche that is modified, used on the track, or driven hard will require an upgrade to the cooling system. This is where the addition of a third, center, radiator comes in. It reduces temperatures and adds reliability to your engine and cooling system while preventing overheating and engine failure.

The CSF center radiator has full aluminum construction with a double row core that provides a 40% increase in cooling capacity and 15-25% increase in cooling efficiency. Along with the increase in cooling performance, all CSF radiators also add reliability to your cooling system by replacing the plastic end caps that are prone to cracking and leaking with aluminum end caps.

This is the most comprehensive 981 center radiator kit on the market.

Additional parts are required to complete the kit. Choose from the items below based on your vehicle options.

Center Air Duct (Required)

  • For models without Code 456 Adaptive Cruise Control use center air duct 981575141091E0.

  • For models with Code 456 Adaptive Cruise Control use center air duct 981575141101E0.

Side Radiator Air Ducts (Optional)

Replacement radiator air ducts are required if your vehicle is equipped with "open" air ducts. The open air ducts channel air from the center of the vehicle to the side radiators whereas using the "closed" version keeps the air flow from the center of the vehicle directed at the center radiator.

Bumper Retaining Frame (Optional)

If the center opening of your bumper is completely closed off then you will need this bumper retaining frame to attach the center air duct to.

If the center opening of your bumper is open, or exposed, then this bumper retaining frame is already on your vehicle and will be reused.

Bumper Spoiler (Optional)

Your original spoiler can be reused if you're comfortable cutting and modifying it. There is a template on the original spoiler that you can cut out to allow the air to escape after passing through the center radiator.
