This complete hub assembly also includes the wheel bearing. With high mileage your BMW's wheel bearings take serious abuse. The most common sign of wheel bearing wear is humming sounds while traveling at highway speeds or groaning/crunching sounds while turning at slow speeds. If your BMW's wheel bearings are making this noise, it is time to replace them.

We always recommend replacing wheel hub assemblies in matched pairs for best service life and performance. You will also need to replace the wheel bearing retaining bolts that secure the wheel hub assembly to the wheel carrier, part number 31206779384. 4 required per wheel hub.
