Front wheel hub assembly with wheel bearing
Wheel bearings are a commonly overlooked item on most cars. Some good indicators pointing out that a wheel bearing is beginning to fail are vibrations at speed, howling sounds, or a general "crunchy" feeling when you try to spin the wheel. If you are noticing any of the above it is time to replace your wheel bearing before further complications can occur.
Note: Per BMW, you must replace the 4 wheel hub bolts that secure the hub assembly to the spindle. They are one time use only and are unsafe to reuse.

Typically a wheel bearing is a set of steel balls within a metal ring, which is called a race. At the center of your wheels, there is a hollow piece of metal, called a hub. The wheel bearings resides inside the hub and helps to reduce friction when the wheel spins.

Placed on my. 2004 bmw 530i , it work just fine
My steering wheel would violently shake when braking, after replacing the rotors and pads and other suspension hardware, this was all that was left.
Like the other guy said i had no idea my old hubs where so bad until getting these on
Didn't realize how bad the hubs were until I replaced these. Made a world of difference in ride, handling and reduced road noise.
