Product Information

A failing wheel bearing will make a lot of tell tale sounds. A good example of this is a humming sound at highway speeds. Additionally, a bad wheel bearing will also make groaning or clunking sounds while turning. If your BMW's wheel bearings are making this noise we highly recommend immediate replacement.

You will also need to replace the wheel hub bolts which are one time use only, included is p/n 31206783065 (4 required per wheel hub assembly) and axle bolt, p/n 31206795249.

Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly

Typically a wheel bearing is a set of steel balls within a metal ring, which is called a race. At the center of your wheels, there is a hollow piece of metal, called a hub. The wheel bearings resides inside the hub and helps to reduce friction when the wheel spins.
