Vacuum Hose

A Vacuum Hose is a flexible rubber or plastic tube in a vehicle that carries vacuum (negative air pressure) from the intake manifold or vacuum pump to various engine components. Many automotive systems rely on engine vacuum for proper operation, including the brake booster, emissions controls, fuel pressure regulator, and HVAC controls.

Vacuum Hose Failure Symptoms
  • Rough idle or stalling – unmetered air entering the engine disrupts the fuel-air mixture.
  • Hissing noise under the hood – sound of air leaking from a broken or loose hose.
  • Poor acceleration / loss of power – incorrect air-fuel ratio affects combustion.
  • Check Engine Light (CEL) – often triggered by lean condition codes (P0171, P0174).

BMW Red Vacuum Hose Silicone
Worked perfectly for my 2011 BMW 335d. Original hoses get brittle from heat.

BMW e46 convertible service bulletin 54-200-03
Was able to fix a convertible noise with those hose, the service bulletin #54-200-03 indicates to use this hose and put it inside the weather strip to stiffen it thus reducing the top flex.

Quality Vacuum Hose BUT...
Quality Silicone Vacuum Hose, BUT make sure this is the right diameter of hose you are looking for as there are different sizes!

Vacuum Hose
Worked great, preventive maintenance on N54, 135i. I ended up using 4 sections of 3 foot hose but ordered 5 just in case. Front turbo was a bear to get on but knew that going in.

problem solved with vacuum hose silicone
getting a 30FF fault code (low boost) on my E93 335i since last 5 month really pain full, many ways been carried out to get rid the code, used local 4mm ID silicone hose for replacement all vacuum line . the code still there.. recently, i tried this red vacuum hose silicone (my first 1 meter order) just to replace spotted lines..yeah the 30FF code totally gone..with the hose character itself, which look firmed and sturdy, make me proceed ordering another 5 meter hose and now waiting for the package..then i will have all vacuum lines with it..

Hope these are better than rubber air hoses.
So, I'm chasing an air leak causing lean codes & poor idle. I replaced all the vac lines with this red silicone hose. I don't know if it will be better than braided covered rubber hose lines. Only time will tell. Symptoms still persist though! !

This stuff is great for Vacuum repairs! Extremely heat resistant. Much better than crap you find at lesser stores

Part number 11747797050 would be considerably larger so it would not fit over the barbs unfortunately. ID on 11657796857 is 2.00 mm

While this may fit your vehicle, this vacuum hose is not equipped to the 335i from the factory.

Unfortunately at this time, this is the only 3.3x7mm vacuum line we have listed. The other vacuum lines we have are of varying sizes for various applications.

There are two different size vacuum hoses, 11727545323 (3.5x1.8) and 11657803732 (3.5x2.0). Along with that, there are pre-molded lines from the vacuum pump to vacuum reservoirs. Roughly 1 meter of each size will be needed.

Would need to know the exact model to provide further assistance. If it's a 328i there won't be much in terms of vacuum hoses.
