BMW 0W30 TwinPower Turbo LL-12FE Engine Oil (1 Liter) - Genuine BMW 83215B800C2

Have been using BMW OEM LL12-FE since car was brand new in 2018. Noticed the last bottle redesign when I ordered another oil change kit. The oil used to be made in USA, but now states "Made in China with foreign and domestic components". Such a shame. This is definitely enough to switch to something else. Considering Liqui Moly, they are still German-made.

Great oil. My 2018 328d calls for LL12-FE. I originally purchased in on sale at FCP and used FCP's outstanding lifetime replacement to change my oil. I really find FCP itself to be more amazing than anything else, their customer service is top notch and their Lifetime Replacement is second to none. I keep coming back each and every time, I seriously don't know how they do it! However, speaking of oil - sent mine in after 10,000 miles on it (car at 50K) for analysis. It showed lower than average metal content, which sounds like this oil is doing an excellent job protecting the engine. The viscosity was a little lower than expected, but engine clearly didn't mind given overall health of it at 50K and after running for 10K on current oil change. They also mentioned the oil maintained its TBN (active compounds) after 10K miles. If you're simply commuting and using car for pleasure, this oil works well for improved fuel economy while giving good protection on N47 and N57 engines. If you are tracking or racing in this car, you may need to switch to LL04, as it is a thicker oil and will provide better component protection at higher temps, but unfortunately will rob you of some fuel economy on the commute. I am happy with mine and will stick to it for the time being! Hoping for 250K on this car! Wish me luck!
