Perfect fit for 97 E36 M3 SEDAN
The trunk gasket in my car had deteriorated years ago and the rear trunk lip was rusty. After professionally repaired, I didn't want to install the old gasket as it had some minor tears and old rusty pieces in it. Ordered this one from FCP Euro and it fit perfectly. The fit was tight as it was brand new. But I just started on the middle (bottom where the ends meet) and worked counterclockwise. Afterwards the trunk would not close easily, but thats because it's a brand new gasket. I shut the trunk with a little extra force the first few times over a week. Has since seated perfectly and closes and seals perfectly. No more leaves and other junk in my trunk.

Only issue was that you have to trim 1 1/4 inch off of the gasket to fit an E36 328i. Hope that won't void the warranty!
