This Genuine BMW part replaces or upgrades the wiring harness for your vehicle's trailer hitch. If your vehicle's factory-equipped tow hitch has electrical connectors corroded due to water or moisture, this replacement harness will restore functionality when connecting your trailer hitch. This wiring harness is also used as a factory upgrade when equipping your X3 with a trailer hitch.
