Bmw Z3 Tie Rods

I used this and so far excellent. Only issue is that, they removed the hex slot on the ball joint spindle so that you can not counter hold the spindle while tightening the nut and since it is ball joint, it keeps on rotating. The solution: use a floor jack to raise it from bottom so that the tapered spindle will be tight in the knuckle and worked fine. Also on Z3, no locking plate and 26ft/lb torque on the nut. Giving only 4 stars only because of the removal of the hex slot.

Needed new tie rods on my e30 with an e36 rack swap. Went OEM, and now my steering is even more responsive.

E36 M3 Tie Rod Assembly

Worked great on my 1997 m3 Sedan! Shipped really fast and amazing prices! Note for application: On the rubber boots that cover the inner tie rod (they don't come with this kit, so you'll be reusing your old ones or buying new ones separately, I used my old ones) there are small metal clamps that hold each end on. Perhaps this particular style of clamps is common, but I hadn't see it before. If you find the loose end of the clamp, simply pull up on it with some needle nose pliers, the less you bend this the easier your life will be trying to put them back on. Then just pull really tight for reapplication. It will feel like they're not going to reach, but they eventually do if you didn't bend it too much.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
