BMW Sway Bar - Whiteline BBF15Z

The whiteline sway bar fit perfectly on my E46 M3 and everything lined up as it should. I greased the bushings with high temp grease and they bolted right into the stock sway bar mounting points on the front frame crossmember on the E46 M3. Here is the bad part, and I ended up returning the swaybar at a cost of $80 to ship back to FCP Euro and ended up having to pay out of pocket several hundred dollars for a new strut which KW refused to warranty claiming the aftermarket swaybar is already stiffer than the stock swaybar they designed the coil over system for and that I made the situation "worse" because I put the KW swaybar endlinks on the inner most (of the 3 adjustable) stiffness/rigidity settings. Who would have thought that someone who would spend several thousand on a coil over system wouldn't also upgrade the swaybar, or put it on stiffer settings. SHAME ON KW for not honoring their warranty! Anyway this is NOT a negative review for the Whiteline bar, it did it's job, handing felt tighter and less body roll/almost non existent even on hard cornering with the KW coilovers and the whiteline sway bar. Everything was great until about 500 mi later on the entire system (KW coilovers and Whiteline sway bar). During hard cornering, the KW supplied (shorter than the OEM BMW one) sway bar end link not only bent, but the welded piece to mount the sway bar end link on the strut sheared/snapped off. The sway bar then was only held by the front 2 off center mounts and the end link on the other side, so the not hanging piece cut into the inside of my tire. This was a rather expensive venture. $300 for a new Michelin Pilot Super Sport, $80 to ship this back to FCP Euro, and since KW refused to warranty the damaged coil over stating it was my fault for using a stiffer sway bar, another $500 down the drain. In the end, I put in the new KW coilover, put back the stock E46 M3 sway bar, and got a new tire. I should have never bought/tried adding a sway bar & would have saved myself $900 to be on the setup I'm rolling on now (MPSS, KW coil over, stock sway bar). Again, not blaming the sway bar, but if you have KW coil overs, don't get this, or don't put it on the inner 3rd/stiffest setting, or be prepared for KW do deny your warranty claim.
