Buy it
I purchased this part from fcp for my 1999 BMW M3. The product says it doesn't fit vehicles with t/c or ASC, however it does fit a vehicle with asc.

The end plates are designed to sit as flush to the strut towers as possible. While the end plates aren't flat they are shaped to sit flush in place on the strut tower.
