Connects the sway bar to the suspension, a commonly overlooked replacement item

Sway bar links are a commonly overlooked replacement item on most vehicles. The sway bar link attaches the sway bar to the suspension and "loads" the sway bar when cornering. This loading of the sway bar is what reduces body roll and allows you to keep control of your vehicle. When sway bar links wear out they will commonly make "clicking" noises at low speeds over bumps.

Suspension Stabilizer Bar Link

Sway Bar links/stabilizer bar links connect the sway bar to the chassis and are an often overlooked replacement item. With age sway bar links, particularly links with ball joints, can develop play and will make knocking noises over bumps or when rocking the vehicle from side to side. If your sway bar links are in rough shape we recommend immediate replacement to restore handling. Always replace sway bar links in pairs.

Fixed clunking noise on bumps
Car started to develop a clunking noise when it would go through uneven roads. Noticed it even more when going over speed bumps. Decided to replace both sway bar links first as it was the cheapest option of all suspension parts. After replacement and took it for a test drive, the clunking was gone. Awesome product and great price!

Will lowering the car with the H&R springs cause these to wear faster?

It shouldn't, but that would depend on driving style and the quality of roads it's driven on.

The bar comes with two nuts. Although the nuts are the same size, they are different. One nut has a floating washer attached to it. There are no instructions to show which nut goes on the top or bottom of the bar.

The nut with the floating washer attaches the sway bar link to the strut while the standard nut secures the sway bar link to the sway bar.
