Direct replacement, fits front left applications
This link connects the left and right side of the suspension via the sway bar. This component is a notorious, but often overlooked wear item and helps provide stability to the vehicle while cornering. If your BMW feels sloppy and has slow responses in the corner this small piece could be the culprit.
We recommend that this component be replaced in pairs for best service life and performance.
Sway Bar links/stabilizer bar links connect the sway bar to the chassis and are an often overlooked replacement item. With age sway bar links, particularly links with ball joints, can develop play and will make knocking noises over bumps or when rocking the vehicle from side to side. If your sway bar links are in rough shape we recommend immediate replacement to restore handling. Always replace sway bar links in pairs.

My old end-links were beyond blown. These were super easy to install using a "pass thru" ratchet and an allen key or allen bit + 1/4 inch drive ratchet to keep the ball joint from spinning.
Immediately you can tell the difference between these and the stock end links. The ball joint is way bigger and looks to be way stronger than stock. Installation was easy with no issues. Will definitely buy again.
The OEM arms are cast with an L & R for left & right fitment. These don't have that, so I had to do a few seconds of forensics to remember which side was which. The flats to hold the back of the joint stationary are sort of shallow, not a lot of meat for a wrench to grab onto.
Replaced old 80k mile worn out parts with these, very nice out of the box, seem a quality upgrade to standard, very much stiffer and are a huge upgrade and replacement for worn out parts
I replaced my 328i E90 sedans stock sway bar links with these and they work great, huge difference from the stock links, they are very well made and they fit as if they were the stock ones. Nice upgrade..

Do you have any in stock that are actually the stainless finish instead of the black ones that arrived? Kind of bummed to order something that would look like an upgraded OE finish to receive a different material for the finish. It means they used cheaper steel and painted it black yet charge the same price.

Unfortunately these are now coming in black and not galvanized steel. I will have the listing updated, however these are HD versions and are considered an upgrade to the original units from Lemforder, and would come with stronger, tighter joints which is where the benefits really come. The stem of the link is not really the failure point in these, having a stronger joint that will last longer and be more durable. I will have the image updated.

There's different part numbers for left n right. For one side, how do I tell top from bottom.

These end links should only install in one orientation (top to bottom). The left/right is due to the angle and orientation of one of the joints.
Would recommend holding the new part up vs the old one during installation and it should make itself obvious.
