BMW B12 Pro Kit (335i 335d) - Bilstein 46-180568

A complete cupkit option pre-packaged directly from Bilstein

The Bilstein B12 (Pro-Kit) is the result of two companies atop their industries collaborating to present the ultimate solution in suspension for the passenger car market. The shock absorber experts at Bilstein and the spring professionals at Eibach used their 120 years of combined experience and knowledge to spawn Performance2. The B12 system consists of four high performance Bilstein dampers, four hi-tech industrial Eibach lowering springs and together you have the best handling, most comfortable direct fit suspension system available today.

Note: We highly recommend replacing the front strut mounts and rear shock mounts when installing this suspension kit

Daily Driver

I have a 2007 BMW 335i Sedan with 120,000 miles, which had the original suspension. First, I should have changed this out at 75k or so, having learned what I had learned as a part of this process. The Bilstein b12 kit lowered my car equivalent to a 335is with the m-sport suspension on it. I have basically taken a car with standard suspension and given it a suspension better than the m-sport suspension by all reviews and accounts. I have driven a 335is, and I can confirm that. It does take 1500 to 2000 miles for the suspension to be fully broken in and the car to "settle". It will continue to lower as you get closer to the 1500-2000 mile mark. As long as you don't touch any camber related bolts during the installation, you should be ok without having to get a full 4-wheel alignment until the suspension finally settles and is broken in. However, you should get a 4-wheel alignment at some point in time after installation. This kit was easy to install as long as you have the right tools. An air gun is a nice thing to have, and probably a must if you live in a state where "salt" is used on the roads, during the winter months. Also, having the right kind of special sockets for the tops of the front struts is probably a smart investment. You can get by with a 7/8 02 sensor socket, but you will need to purchase a 22mm special socket that has a cut out. Or just buy both 21 and 22mm special cut out sockets. The DIYer should do their research. There are plenty of videos and BMW Enthusiast blogs etc with pictures etc. This a 2 person job with at least one person who is good with their hands.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
