This strut restoration kit is purpose-built for your BMW F15 X5 and F16 X6. It comes with all of the hardware required in order to properly overhaul the front strut suspension and to restore your BMW to factory condition.

Factory BMW components are well built and very robust. However, these components get "tired" after countless thousands of miles of driving. If you feel like your BMW is disconnected from the road and the handling is less than desirable chances are your suspension is in need of an overhaul.

Coil springs are specific from BMW to BMW based upon the equipment that is installed in the vehicle from the factory. Suspension Strut Assembly Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

Nice kit, but...
This kit has ALMOST everything you need. If you're doing this job yourself, you've probably watched the video on FCP euro YouTube channel (if not, go find it). In the video, Gareth spoke about the corrosion that is typical between the aluminum knuckle and the steel bolt. He goes on to say that the bolt is single use only. I don't see how you remove the strut without taking out that bolt so I would have loved to have that bolt and nut included in the kit. Do yourself a favor and buy that bolt and nut at the same time you buy the kit...otherwise you'll find yourself having to reuse the old bolt until the new hardware arrives from FCP Euro (after you realize it wasn't included in the kit).
