Suspension Strut Assembly

If your ride feels a little bouncy or you can feel clunks in the suspension while it's going over bumps it is likely due to worn strut assemblies and shock absorbers. The purpose of the strut assembly is it acts as a central pivot point for the suspension while housing the coil spring. It also dampens the compression and rebound of the coil spring as the suspension moves up and down. When replacing suspension components it is highly recommended to replace them in pairs.

i3 Ride Restored to Factory New
These Bilstein Touring B4 struts were an exact fit for our 2016 i3 Range Extender that had 150k on the original struts. They were easy to install, probably a tad easier than a traditional vehicle, simply because everything is slightly scaled down in size and weight. I decided to also replace the strut boots, bump stops and upper strut mounts. I did these additional parts to ensure another 100k of trouble free miles. Will be doing the rear struts next. FCP had the best pricing!
