Includes Bilstein B4 struts and shocks, coil spring shims, hardware, and other mounts required for replacing your BMW's struts and shocks

This is a complete refresh kit for your E9X BMW. It comes with all of the hardware required in order to properly overhaul the front struts and rear shocks.

Factory BMW components are well built and very robust. However, these components get "tired" after countless thousands of miles of driving. If you feel like your BMW is disconnected from the road and the handling is less than desirable chances are your suspension is in need of an overhaul.

Do you also need coil springs? Please read the information below:
This kit does not include coil springs. Coil springs are specific from BMW to BMW based upon the equipment that is installed in the vehicle from the factory. If you would also like to order replacement coil springs please email the last 7 characters of your BMW's VIN to products@fcpeuro.com.

Suspension Strut and Shock Absorber Assembly Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

Great Kit and restores full handling
Had this kit installed on my 09 335i with M sport Suspension after 13years. 5/5 rating. Paper gaskets were missing but not really an issue since I had some laying around that I cut to fit. Otherwise all the components were there, took about a day to get the front suspension in while refreshing the front hubs but they restored my factory handling and now I can consistently hit 140mph+ on track days without having the rear end bumping out on turns. FCP for the win on this kit.

ALMOST everything you need
The struts themselves and the are great and get a 5/5. Knocking off one star because this kit is incomplete. It comes with everything you need for a proper rebuild EXCEPT replacement paper gaskets that go on top of the strut bearing. The ones on my car were still in okay shape, but I would have replaced them as well if they were part of the kit because one of them was starting to tear. Shame that I didn't realize they weren't part of the kit until I was already 3/4 through the job.

Rear shocks bump stop issue
2006 330i sport package. The bump stops that come in this kit don't work correctly. The black sleeve will get stuck on the body of the shock moving up and down with the shock. It supposed to stay fixed in place by the shock mount. Also the kit doesn't provide the gaskets between strut mount and shock tower.

Great kit, but with a small issue
Every thing in the kit is of great German product brands as well as the parts being made in Germany. However there was a caveat as the front strut assemblies with different part numbers indicated in the listing and receiving different part numbered items, they were the exact same. The sway bar link ear of the strut body was in the same position as the other meaning I have to return the one in an attempt to solve the issue. The shop I brought my kit to had mentioned that another brand of front struts they had gotten recently had a similar issue.

Yes, this Bilstein B4 kit is a good replacement for a 2007 BMW 335i equipped with the factory sport package/sport suspension. The B4 dampers are designed to restore the original ride quality and handling; they are not intended for aftermarket lowering springs, and fitment should be confirmed separately if your 335i is an xi/xDrive model.

Buying this kit seems like a tough choice to me...I have a 2009 335i with sport suspension. So the standard B4 suspension kit doesnt seem to be an option. That kit has 8, five star reviews. Whereas this one has two star reviews... One person receiving two of the same stut, another describing issues with the bump stops. Id prefer an OEM style suspension replacement as I do like the ride of the car, stock. It would also save me about $400 as it seems the only other suspension kits worth purchasing are the B6 and B8. Is there some way that FCP can assure Ill be getting the correct parts and give me some insight on this bumpstop issue? Thank you
