Suspension Stabilizer Bar

A sway bar—also called an anti-roll bar or stabilizer bar—is a suspension component designed to reduce body roll during cornering. It essentially a metal rod that connects the left and right wheels (usually via short sway bar links) and twists slightly when the vehicle leans. This twisting action helps keep the car flatter in turns, improving stability and handling.

Suspension Stabilizer Bar Failure Symptoms
  • Excessive Body Roll in Turns: The car leans more than usual when cornering, making it feel less stable.
  • Clunking, Knocking, or Rattling Noises: Often heard when driving over bumps or during turns—usually from worn or broken sway bar links/bushings.
  • Loose or Wandering Steering Feel: The steering may feel less precise or the car may “float” more, especially on curves.
  • Uneven or Premature Tire Wear: Poor handling can lead to increased stress on certain tires.
  • Reduced Cornering Grip: The car might feel like it’s losing traction sooner when turning.

Hi does this come as a kit including the upper and lower bushings along with the brackets needed for each side as shown in KIT-33552283655KT?
