Set of 8 Platinum spark plugs designed for the N62 engine

Spark plugs wear out over the course of countless ignition cycles, during which deposits from fuel and oil may accumulate on the electrode. Faulty spark plugs can lead to poor engine performance, evidenced by reduced power, a misfire, and poor fuel economy.

This finewire platinum spark plug is specifically designed for the N62 engine. Per BMW it is recommended to replace spark plugs every 100,000 miles although we recommend replacement sooner for best performance.

Spark Plug Set

Maintaining your car at suggested service intervals will result in a better performance and improved fuel economy, which is why we suggest changing your spark plugs at the manufacturers suggested service intervals and be sure to check their condition for any warning signs of failure. If your vehicle isn't operating at peak performance it may be time to replace your spark plugs.

Great plugs quiet X5 but packs the punch
Idling is low and the takeoff is impressive. I was concerned mainly that these came pre gapped and after checking they are. Just put them in and you're good to go on an e70 at least. Truly unleashed the power of the 4.8l. Recommended.

Great performance and excellent value for money
I had a hard time choosing between the Bosch or NGK spark plugs. I know they will both perform fantastically and in the end I chose the Bosch because of the price. It goes on to show that the lesser priced does not always have the lesser one and immediately felt the difference after replacing them.

Changed my spark plugs for my BMW 550i 2008 and so far they have been working great. The package was great and well packaged.

Best running spark plugs in N62
These plugs make the idle noticeably smoother after changing in the N62 motor. Being Double Platinum they are 50-60000 mile plugs. They used to have iridium center core when they were sold from BMW. The plus is they have a copper core tapered ground electrode with inlaid platinum element. This is unique to this plug. Only complaint is the newer screw on terminals. My last set the crimped terminals came loose which is not good for the ignition coils when the engine is under a high load and the coil pack is drawing 6 amps of current.

Big difference in performance
Recently got the car with two misfires and thought it ran great lol! But after I switched all plugs and coils out... my goodness! Engine sounds even more amazing and I literally got 3 compliments at a traffic light about the sound. Everyone else just stares while I blow by. Check out my Instagram @X5_Noir to see what I mean
