A set of 6 NGK DCPR8EKP spark plugs for your S54 engine

Spark plugs wear out over the course of countless ignition cycles, during which deposits from fuel and oil may accumulate on the electrode. Faulty spark plugs can lead to poor engine performance, evidenced by reduced power, a misfire, and poor fuel economy.

This NGK spark plug is the same spark plug that BMW used and specced for your S54 powered BMW. Additionally, it is the same spark plug that BMW's dealer network uses when servicing S54 powerplants.

NGK over Bosch
I had the oem Bosch plugs in my car & had misfire symptoms at idle with no codes from time to time. Swapped for NGK & haven’t run into the problem again yet

Can these not be used for non m cars, like an n55 235? I trying to see why these are cheaper than the other NKG ones your sell that come out to be $82

No. An N55 requires a deep reach M12x1.25mm spark plug. These are M14x1.25mm so just by thread size they're not going to fit. We have multiple options listed for your vehicle that will fit.

Assuming you mean .022" as the spark plug gap you're looking for. This gap is usually for a high boost turbocharged S54 engine but no spark plug comes gapped at that spec out of the box. This NGK BKR6EIX (and Genuine BMW plug) are pre-gapped at .035" out of the box so you would need to manually close the gap and then reset it with a spark plug gap gauge. Would recommend a wire type spark plug gauge for closing and opening the gap to the correct spec.

Yes, these are pre-gapped. For reference they are gapped to .036".
