2021 540i, Perfect Fitment/Operation
I bought the 6 pack of plugs, all came in at once, all branded NGK Laser iridium. Install was simple enough. I did buy the special spark plug extension needed to remove and install them, made the process a breeze. Spark plugs came pre gapped at 0.030” which is on spec for a G30 540i. Spark plugs were changed at 55k miles, car is now at 60k no issues with new spark plugs.

Questions & Answers

Ask a question
Question Posted by a customer
Do these come pre-gapped right out of the box or do I have to set the gap myself? Also what is the recommended gap size?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
These would be Iridium plugs that would come pregapped to .031" (.8mm), you would not gap or change the gap on these just install them. This may be a different gap than what is factory on your application (not knowing your application, I can't tell you the gap). But these would be installed without change in the vehicle.
