If your X5 is starting to feel bouncy in the rear end or the handling performance isn't quite what it used to be it is likely due to worn out shocks. Shock absorbers dampen the ride and control the movements of the rear suspension. If you are hitting bumps in the road and the rear end feels unstable it could be due to worn out shocks. We always recommend replacing shocks in matched pairs for the best performance and service life.
