This strut restoration kit is purpose built for your BMW E46. It comes with all of the hardware required in order to properly overhaul the rear suspension of your E46 and to restore your BMW to factory condition.

Factory BMW components are well built and very robust. However, these components get "tired" after countless thousands of miles of driving. If you feel like your BMW is disconnected from the road and the handling is less than desirable chances are your suspension is in need of an overhaul.

This kit does not include coil springs. Coil springs are specific from BMW to BMW based upon the equipment that is installed in the vehicle from the factory. Suspension Shock Absorber Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

Good Kit
Had everything I needed to replace my worn out rear shocks. Feels like stock firmness.

Easy Upgrade
Purchased these after replacing my front struts, which highlighted just how bad my rear shocks were. Kit contained everything I needed, and was really easy to install. Worst part of the job was removing the trunk lining, otherwise, super simple. These shocks are clearly an upgrade over stock, and made a big difference in ride quality. Great value/$$.

Can you please clarify this fitment for a 2004 E46 330xi? The fitment on this page for the kit containing the Bilstein 19-103150 'confirms' it's a correct fit, but your description for the standalone "BMW Shock Absorber - Bilstein Touring 19-103150" says it does NOT fit and is for the Ci etc (which matches info found on many other sites). Which is it?

Looking at this kit, looks like we have the incorrect shocks included for the AWD. Should be part number 19-220598 for the rear shocks. We will update these accordingly now, I apologize for the inconvenience. I will jump back on here and reply when the kit is updated. (Update) we have corrected the kit and updated the shocks to correspond with the AWD E46 models, should be good to go.
