Product Information

This strut restoration kit is purpose-built for your BMW F15 X5. It comes with all of the hardware required in order to properly overhaul the rear suspension of your X5 and to restore your BMW to factory condition.

Factory BMW components are well built and very robust. However, these components get "tired" after countless thousands of miles of driving. If you feel like your BMW is disconnected from the road and the handling is less than desirable chances are your suspension is in need of an overhaul.

Coil springs are specific from BMW to BMW based upon the equipment that is installed in the vehicle from the factory. Suspension Shock Absorber Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

Sealing grommet
This kit does not include the Sealing Grommet, 33536870723. You need one for each side if your old seal is brittle and cracked.

Great Product and Easy to Install
I highly recommend these if you have a BMW X5 with around 75,000 miles. They were super easy to install following the video from FCPEuro. My X5 rides and handles like new and I saved a bunch of money over what the dealer would have charged.
