B6 series, 46mm monotube shock absorber

If the rear end of your BMW is feeling "bouncy" or "loose" it can likely be attributed to blown or worn shock absorbers. The purpose of the shock absorber is to dampen the recoil of the coil spring as your travel over dips and bumps in the road. Bilstein HD 24-060967
Installed a pair of these in the rear with B8 Bilstein's in the front. 530I M Touring with S227 option and Air Springs, bit firmer than oem but highly recommend these for an upgrade to make it a bit more of a sporty feel. As pictured the item came with the cover and bumpstop, best if you get new mounts with it (bmw part number 33521093416). Done a rally and 35000km on them so far with no issues.

Excellent product
Installed these on an E39 touring w/ SLS... couldn't be happier. Definitely, firmer than stock, yet comfortable.

Best replacement for stock M5 strut
I replaced my sachs struts with these, primarily due to cost (these are affordable!). They work great with stock springs, but are too long for lowered springs. I also replaced the control arms and the lower bearing in the rear. This REALLY made the car feel solid. Removed 130K miles of age!
