BMW Shift Knob - Sun Nation 25111209862

A manual transmission shift knob is the driver-operated handle attached to the top of the gear shift lever in a manual vehicle. It allows the driver to comfortably grip and control the gear lever when selecting gears. Beyond functionality, shift knobs also serve an aesthetic role, with designs ranging from simple factory styles to performance or custom options. A worn or damaged shift knob can reduce comfort and make gear changes less precise.

• Loose or wobbly fit, making it harder to shift accurately.
• Cracks, wear, or damage to the knob surface, reducing comfort and grip.
• Excessive movement or misalignment, if the knob or threads are stripped or worn.
