Odometer Gear seat platform bushing kit, includes 8 bushings made from Delrin, 4 bushings needed per seat

If your Z3 seat bottom has side to side movement front to back it is caused by defective seat bushings. This replacement kit from Odometer Gears resolves the issue by replacing the OE style bushings with Delrin bushings. These bushings create a permanent repair.

About Odometer Gears

Owned by Jeff Caplan, Odometer Gears started out when the Owner of the company needed to replace the Odometer gear on his 1980 BMW 528I to complete the restoration of the vehicle. However, after searching from repair shop to repair shop, everyone want to sell him the entire cluster repair service or in some cases the entire instrument cluster itself which could cost up to $1600 installed. Once he made his first gear, word got out and he quickly started getting orders from other enthusiasts. Today, Odometer Gears still has the passion and drive to make inexpensive solutions to repair expensive components by developing smaller parts to repair them.

Perfect fit
These bushings fit my 1999 Z3 2.8 percetly. No sanding required.

Great fit for 97 Z3 1.9L power seats
Factory seat bushings literally disintegrate in place. If your seats have some slack back and forth, this is most likely the cure to make them firm again. These are a great replacement bushings w no sanding or adjustment needed. Repair takes about an 1.5 hour per seat. Lots of good videos available for DIYs. My 97 Z3 1.9L had about 157,500 miles on it at the time. Most of the repair time was spend cleaning up the mess the old bushings left. Very happy w the results.
