A suspension stabilizer bar mount (also called a sway bar mount or bushing) is the component that secures the stabilizer bar (sway bar) to the vehicle’s frame or subframe. It keeps the bar in place while allowing limited movement, helping reduce body roll during turns and improving handling stability. The mount usually includes rubber or polyurethane bushings that absorb vibration and flex. Over time, these mounts can wear out due to constant stress, heat, and road conditions.

• Poor handling – increased body roll, swaying, or loose steering feel.
• Visible wear – cracked, worn, or displaced bushings around the stabilizer bar mount.
