About Genuine European BMW

The original parts used by BMW to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine BMW” brand. When ordering a Genuine BMW part you are guaranteed to get the same part that you would pick up from your local dealership's part department. Genuine BMW parts have been built to BMW’s stringent standards and are the same quality as the original parts used to build your Ultimate Driving Machine.

Items sold as Genuine European BMW are parts that traditionally are only available for the European market. Certain accessory items and equipment are slated for specific market use and sale. It is FCP Euro's goal to provide as many of these accessory items as possible to allow BMW owners to further enjoy their ultimate driving machine.

I have a 2005 BMW Z4 2.5i and was wondering where on the radio does this plug in I have the standard Z4 business cd radio.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Modifications are required to install as well as wiring instructions. This is not a plug and play kit and pins are required to be installed into existing connectors that are part of the vehicle wiring harness.

bmw 2002 530i, says it fits but from 9/2002. My radio model no. CD53 E39/53 Manufac. 02 MAY, would this still work? If yes, would it require anything else such as updating/programming the software. extra info., SW/NO. 42 & HW/NO 44.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This auxiliary kit will only fit vehicles produced from 9/1/2002 onward. It will not work or function on a vehicle with a build date before due to the differences in the radio.
