E90 LCI outer tail light repair kit, features two new outer tail light assemblies
LCI tail lights on E90 models have been problematic. To deal with the issues BMW has put together this repair kit which replaces both outer tail lights on LCI E90 models. The cause of the problems with these tail lights is wiring internal to the tail lights that cannot be serviced or repaired without changing the assembly. This cost effective solution will restore you E90's tail lights to their former glory.

Just want to add a review for those outside of the US. I’m in Thailand and I ordered this part for my E90 320D. It’s a perfect fit as expected for all E90 lci model body. Hope it helps. Shipping takes about a week. I would have got them better is they were shipped by FedEx. UPS here isn’t very efficient. Good job with the package, will definitely order again.

This is labeled as 'repair kit', but it's the entire outer tail lights. I had issues with the LEDs failing and these were an inexpensive OEM fix!
2 years with no issues. Good fit.
Remove 3 screws and a connector and pop the new one in. It even comes with the replaceable brake light already installed.

I'm not much of a wrench turner, but this is an easy install. Three 8mm bolts and an electrical connection is all it takes. Part is identical to the factory unit it replaced.
Several of the LEDs failed in my outer tailight on my 2010 328i. I was happy to find these available as a kit through FCP Euro. Figured I better play it safe and replace them both. Kit was shipped and delivered lightening fast. Very happy with the quick turnaround, availability of parts and the quality in which they packaged the kit for safe shipping.

This is an LED light, so you would likely need to buy the whole taillight depending on which bulb went out.

Any LCI E90 sedan (model year 2009-2011) is affected by premature failure of the LCD board.

This was touched upon in a previous answer. There is nothing different between this kit and the individual tail lights: "BMW offers this kit to dealerships as a lower cost repair solution as the outer tail lights on LCI E90 sedans are a known failure item. BMW discounts the price of the kit due to recalls and and warranty repairs. This repair kit is the better value compared to buying the individual part and it's recommended to just replace both outer assemblies with these updated versions."

No, this is for E90 LCI sedans only. E91 wagon's have an entirely different outer tail light assembly.

The turn signals are red. These are the US/DOT spec tail lights and not the Euro/TUV spec tail lights which use amber signals.
