If your BMW's auto leveling headlights have stopped functioning properly don't panic right away. This arm is often the culprit for causing the auto leveling system to malfunction. We recommend inspecting to make sure it is in good working order or has not fallen off the car.

headlight sensor arm
this sits on right control arm .better fit and you dont need a slim 10 mm spanner to counter hold while installing 10 mm nut to secure. 05 E53 M54B30.
