Radiator

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

Works on a BMW Z3 1.9L
Works on a BMW Z3 1.9L. However, you will need to pull some old parts surrounding your old radiator (i.e. panels and upper seal and mounts).

Perfect for my Z3
Great fit for 1997 Z3 1.9L engine setup. Replaced original radiator at 157K miles as part of cooling system refresh. Keeping up with the coolant replacement schedule should make it last.

Has worked perfectly, issue with molding
So far I have no complaints about this radiator performance wise; it works as intended. However, the unit i received was missing the ribs on the lower radiator flange. Its almost completely smooth with the exception of a lip encompassing about half the of very end of it. I figure this is a defect. That being said, it has yet to affect the performance of the radiator as far as I can tell.

It's great but...
It's great but the lower neck is weird. Thankfully I solved the common issue but putting some RTV. I prefer NISSENS over BEHR for it looks stronger and sturdier.

Nice quality, no cap included
It's a nicely built radiator that is definitely worth the purchase over a Chinese junk radiator (and only about $40 more). Only down side was that I assumed/hoped the radiator would come with a cap, the photo shows the radiator upside down so I was not sure. Other than that, solid radiator for the money, especially with lifetime warranty.

Perfect fit
Fit perfect, just make sure to take the transmission oil cooler support clips and rubber mounts from the old radiator as this did not come with those.

Good Quality, even the plastic
I'm surprised at how heavy-duty the plastic sides feel on this radiator, especially with the tank. It doesn't feel cheap for having plastic on the sides.
