Product Information

A common failure item of most BMW cooling systems

Your BMW's radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crank causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing fins or are clogged up with debris can also cause overheat issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your BMW's radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend replacing the upper and lower radiator hose.

About Mahle Behr

Mahle Behr GmbH & Co. KG is a German corporation active in the automobile industry, headquartered in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. It is a specialist for automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems. Mahle began in 1920 when pistons made of heavy gray cast iron were being used in internal combustion engines for automobiles and there was a need for a new design. The Mahle brothers countered this trend by producing light-alloy pistons at their small, newly established company however the technology was still finicky and problems come up frequently. They soon determined that they needed to come up with a solution to keep dirt and dust out of the engine so they eventually developed air and oil filters as well. Their perseverance paid off and the light-alloy pistons began to take over the market. Today, half of all automobiles produced worldwide contain MAHLE components. MAHLE offers an extensive range of parts for everyone including pistons, cylinder liners, piston ring sets, bearings, assemblies, valves, valve train components, and air, oil, fuel, and cabin air filters. Their catalog and online database of aftermarket engine components is an indispensable reference. In early 2016, Stuttgart-based MAHLE GmbH increased its holding in the Behr Group from 36.85 percent to approximately 51 percent with the acquisition of all shares in the BWK GmbH holding company. The company now goes by Mahle-Behr.

Radiator
DON'T BUY THE GENUINE BMW RADIATOR FOR $615.00 BECAUSE THIS IS IT. IT JUST DON'T HAVE THE BMW STAMP ON IT. GREAT FIT AND DON'T LEAK. QUICK DELIVERY, CAN'T COMPLAIN.

Great fit!
Great OEM Radiator for my E53 X5. Looks just like the original, side by side comparison they were identical. I replaced this along with water pump, thermostat and hoses for worry free cooling on my truck. Everything works as should. Shipping was super fast and can't beat the lifetime replacement guarantee!

Perfect
I've had an ongoing coolant leak for quite some time. I recently had it diagnosed as a cracked radiator. BMW's cost was $425. Thankfully I am a BMW employee and they quoted me $260. I mulled it over for awhile but when I discovered most of my cooling system had failed, I had to safely cut corners where I could. BMW's warranty is only 24 months as well. I knew BEHR made a great product. What I didn't know when I compared the two radiators side by side, is that the BMW radiator says BEHR on it! I basically got an OEM radiator with a lifetime warranty for $50 less than employee pricing. Everything fit perfectly and went in without a hitch!

Fits Perfectly, Works great
Item was dropped shipped from Texas - seems to have originated in a Behr factory in Mexico. The box actually had a BMW sticker on it - I guess this really is a OEM part. Looks identical and fit perfectly. Can't complain about anything.
