Radiator

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

This radiator is holding up strong. The construction is very good and it was a direct replacement to my 2005 BMW X3 2.5i. All the hose snapped in perfectly and the expansion tank too.

Has been great for 7 years
Replaced my original BMW radiator with this Nissens radiator in 2013, 7 years later and it is still going strong, built like a tank!

good fit. seems to be decent quality when comparing to OE. comes with manual and auto drain plug BE CAREFUL when installing - it is plastic , only turn 45 degrees to lock in place. DON'T FORGET - order 3 (they are the same size - 14.5 x 2.5) replacement o rings for the expansion tank to radiator (1) and oil cooler to expansion tank holder (2) connection to radiator

Nissens Radiator
This is the third Nissens brand radiator that I have purchased. The first two were perfect. This one had the top hose connection slightly misaligned, which made getting the hose on a little bit of a struggle.

I’m going to be changing the radiator on my 2005 BMW X3. Do you guys have an o-ring kit for all the radiator lines that I’ll be removing to access the radiator? I plan on using the Nissan radiator. Thanks
