Radiator

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

Fit
I purchased this part for a 2011 BMW 335i with auto-transmission. The FCP Euro site green box said it would fit. After an unsuccessful attempt to install, I learned from FCP Euro customer service that there are two are two engines for this model year and this part does not fit. The plastic on the passenger side can be trimmed to make it fit and with the help of a professional this part was eventually (and expensively) installed. To avoid a big headache, be sure to provide your VIN to FCP Euro customer service to verify that parts like this fit. Do not rely on the "verified fit" message on their website (which isn't generated based on VIN) . I'm giving the product 3 stars only because I don't know how it will hold up.

Nissens 60832
Did not fit, as the other reviewers said. Rather than try to trim or cut, I managed after several wasted hours to get the bottom of the radiator to seat properly, the top driver side fastener in and had about a 1 inch gap on the passenger side between the fastener point on the radiator and the fastener point on the chassis. The radiator was sitting perfectly true and where it needed to be. Nissens changed something.

Does not fit
Does not fit. Had to cut and sand down about 6 of the plastic tabs and ridges. They were generally too long by roughly 4mm.

2009 335i (auto)
Definitely does not fit. Will need to modify or return. I made sure I was correctly installing by reinstalling the old radiator multiple times. The Niessens radiator hangs up on something plastic on the left side (passenger side).

Doesn't fit!!!
As the other reviewer stated, the Nissens radiator does not fit. He stated he had to trim some plastic on the radiator to fit. I don't see what could be trimmed, it's just too big. I bought the Mahle and it immediately when into place.

Nissens Radiator
Had some fitment issues getting the radiator to sit correctly. After some trimming of a plastic tab, it fit and has been working flawlessly for around 15,000 miles.

These large rings would be for the hose connections at the radiator I believe, the cooler lines are much smaller.

These seem isolated issues it appears, looking at the return history compared to order history on this sku It has only come back to us a handful of times over the last 5 years with tens of thousands of units sold. Also have not heard any additional notes related to quality or fitment outside of these reviews. Though personally I would not be concerned, I will have our BMW team investigate further. There are several other options available for this OE 17117547059
