Product Information

E9X M3's have an interesting phenomenon with power steering hoses having a tendency to corrode badly in certain environments. Even garage-kept vehicles will have heavy corrosion on the metal portion of the power steering hoses.

Hydraulic power steering systems require regular inspection for leaks. The system relies on a constant supply of clean hydraulic fluid which can be interrupted when there is a leak in the system.

In addition to checking for leaking power steering hoses, it's also critical to replace your power steering reservoir with every system flush. The power steering reservoir includes an integrated filter which cannot be replaced separately.
