Product Information
The DS2500 is one of the best hybrid street/track pads on the market. It features the moderately high bite and solid fade resistance of a track pad, with the relatively low dust and noise levels of a street pad. When used as a street pad, it can produce some squeal on certain vehicle platforms. During aggressive driving the DS2500 is known for its flat torque curve, which means as temperatures go up, the response through the brake pedal remains consistent. If you drive aggressively on the street, do some canyon runs, autoX, and maybe some light track duty on street tires, the DS2500 is tough to beat.

Unfortunately they don't last forever and are considered to be a major wear item which must be replaced before they completely wear out and damage the brake rotor costing you more in repairs. Brake pads are suggested to be checked frequently during oil changes or routine services for wear to ensure you have at least the minimum pad thickness as stated by the car manufacturer.

DS2500s have been my go-to track day pad since my Evo 8 days. Just as competent in my '21 M2 Comp. Get some minor squeaking under light braking on the street, but not an issue. Fitment was perfect, too.
This is my fault for not researching more before deciding on this pad, but the ears needed to be shaved to fit, and there is no brake pad sensor accommodation (not that it really matters.)
Otherwise a great pad for spirited street use, works great in the cold and I haven’t had any fade issues.
Dust is less than stock, and I’m getting a slight, tolerable squeak when stopping in the cold.
Overall satisfied, but still disappointed that a company with history like Ferodo can’t make a pad that fits perfectly.

Will this fit my 2021 M2 Competition? (not listed under your specific fittment guides)
Also, I was told by a fellow driver that your replacement guarantee for brake pads is only for one set (one-time replacement) - is this true, or are there unlimited replacements?

This is a set of brake pads for the front of the vehicles listed in the fitment guide. Yes, this brake pad set will fit your 2021 M2 Competition.
