BMW Electronic Parking Brake Control Switch - Vemo 61319877889

Product Information

An Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) control switch is a cabin-mounted control that electronically engages or releases the parking brake, replacing the traditional handbrake lever. When activated, it sends a signal to the brake actuator motors, which apply or release the rear brakes. The EPB switch enhances convenience, saves interior space, and often integrates with safety features like hill-hold assist.

• Parking brake warning light illuminated on the dashboard.
• Failure to engage or release the parking brake when pressing the switch.
• Intermittent or unresponsive operation, often due to electrical faults or switch failure.
