Great part before the price jump
My purchase date: Jul 03, 2020 My Price: $99.82 Fits as expected OEM I bought this part to use the housing only and remove the bolted on cooler. I have a pre oil cooler 2007 335XI I wanted to add oil cooler to. The housing is the same as the N54 cars with external oil cooler. At the time it was the cheapest was to get a housing. Several places listed this part for around $100. Now 2021 and its listed for $499. I did not check if everyone raised prices.

Genuine BMW Part for a Great Cost!
Looks exactly like the original part that came with my 2013 X3 35i. It comes with the oil filter housing gasket, oil cooler gasket and the oil filter cap as well. Includes the bolts already tightened from the oil cooler to the housing. Does not come with sensor or oil filter housing bolts to block. Great buy. Just make sure you order a new oil pressure sensor and new oil filter housing bolts just incase you do not want to reuse your old ones.

The correct oil filter housing for an E83 X3 is p/n 11428683206, which does not include the oil cooler. The oil cooler included with this oil filter housing is not the correct oil cooler for your vehicle.

Yes, this includes the oil filter housing gasket. The oil cooler (preinstalled) has a gasket between it and the oil filter housing.

No, this only fits the vehicles as listed in the fitment guide. A 2008 E60 528i uses p/n 11428683206 for the oil filter housing.
