Oil change kit for E60 M5 or E63/E64 M6 with an OEM Mahle oil filter and 10 liters of 10W60 LiquiMoly oil

Engine oil in any vehicle is a critical lifeline. This is especially true in the case of the BMW S85 V10. Regular servicing not only maintains current levels of performance but also helps reduce wear. BMW stipulates that the oil should be changed every 15,000 miles. We and other enthusiasts do not agree with this philosophy. Instead, we recommend oil changes under normal use every 5,000 miles to prevent sludge buildup and to ensure that the engine has a consistent supply of fresh oil.

This oil change kit features an OEM Mahle filter kit with filter element, drain plug crush washer, and filter housing gaskets along with 10 liters of Liqui Moly 10W60 engine oil. If you wish to purchase a drain plug they are available separately HERE

I am not disappoint at all since I used it in my M4 and it did it again and the engine is much quieter and smooth.

Oil Good Filter No Good
I ordered this kit for my 2008 BMW M5. I ordered a similar kit last year from ECS Tuning. I had no issues. This year they were out of stock. So ordered from FCP, the price was great. The oil was great. The filter did NOT fit. The diameter of the inner circle on both ends was too small. I tried everything to get it on short of cutting the material and altering the hole size. So in the middle of changing the oil, on a Saturday, I had to run out to the local Autozone 30 mins away and buy a "just like" OEM filter which did fit, no problem. So in the end Im disappointed and out the cost of the replacement filter. Just a heads up for future M5 buyers.

Liqui Moly Oil Change Kit
Oil consumption is much lower with Liqui Moly. Better replacement oil then OEM. FCP Euro is a great value and only company with a lifetime replacement warranty.

I use this on my E60 M5. To be honest, I haven't really noticed any improvements as such compared to the "m power" oil that BMW recommends. However, this costs way less than that and I did notice the oil consumption was less.
