Replacement engine mount, does not include replacement hardware

This mount secures the transmission to the transmission crossmember. With age the rubber deteriorates causing excessive vibration and play in the driveline. Always replace transmission mounts in pairs.

Manual Transmission Mount

A manual transmission mount is a component that secures the transmission to the chassis, isolating vibrations while keeping the drivetrain properly aligned. It uses a combination of metal and rubber (or sometimes hydraulic fluid) to absorb movement and prevent noise from reaching the cabin.

Manual Transmission Mount Failure Symptoms
  • Excessive vibrations felt in the cabin or shifter due to weakened or cracked rubber.
  • Clunking or banging noises when shifting gears, accelerating, or decelerating as the transmission moves excessively.
  • Difficulty shifting or drivetrain misalignment, with the shifter feeling out of place or gear changes becoming rough.

Nothing beats original transmission mounts
Forget about all aftermarket options. This is the only transmission mount you will ever need. Anything else will make your BMW not feel like a BMW. Works great on non-M cars. I'm running these on a 6 speed E46 330i. BMW calls for about 16ft lb of torque. Just make sure to get it fairly hand tight and you will be good. Overtightening them won't lead to more NVH so don't be scared of that.

Great upgrade from the stock tranny mounts on my ‘09 135i N54.

I bought these for my 08 135i as a OEM+ upgrade. These should work on a few other MT BMWs. But make sure you order 2; I assumed they came in pairs and only got one :(

Firmer shifting
firmer mounts fit regular e46 models as well (non M) .
