A liftgate trim scuff plate is a protective panel located at the lower edge of a vehicle’s liftgate opening, designed to shield the interior trim and bodywork from scratches, scuffs, and wear during cargo loading and unloading. Often made of durable plastic or metal, it not only preserves the vehicle’s appearance but also enhances durability in high-contact areas.
